After years of procrastination, I have finally "gotten the lead out" and compiled the poems that I have written over the years into the form of a book titled "The Inner Voice". I have included a brief autobiography, over 80 poems, a photo gallery and some material from my next book in the making.
It is amazing to see how my style, vocabulary and thought process have evloved over the years. My first recorded poem dates back to 1976 where at the tender age of 9 I sat at the dining room table to pen a poem of appreciation for my mother and father. Since then, the thoughts and feelings expressed through poetry have served as the "diary" of my life.
"The Inner Voice" brings to account some of the love, sadness, infatuation, bereavement and triumphs that I have experienced over the years. It also permits me to share some of my fine "Hallmark" expressions.
Here's a poem taken from the book "The Inner Voice"

"To My Love"
Looking back on yesterday When our love was young and new, We've overcome many problems To find a love that's true.
You've picked me up when I've felt down And was there when no one cared. You've been with me through thick and thin And all of my moods you've shared.
It's only by the love of God And the love that's in our hearts, That we've survived all the rumors That could have torn us apart.
So, today, before each witness here I pledge to you in life. May God bless my ev'ry effort In making you a happy wife.
